WCR Team Prepares for Carnival

WCR's team of volunteers are preparing to take part in the town's carnival on Saturday. Barry Mole and Andrew Robinson will co-ordinate the live coverage, starting the broadcast from 6pm at Boreham Road. They'll be setting the scene as the carnival returns after two years of absence. As the procession begins at 6.45pm, Barry and Andrew will commentate on the floats and entries as they pass.

Then WCR joins the carnival itself as OB1, the outside broadcast vehicle, enters the procession. Barry and Andrew, in the vehicle, will be joined by Jamie Scorgie, Izzy Nevill and Gabriella Fyall from Teenscene. They'll be talking to members of the public who will line the procession route to witness the return of a much loved event in the Warminster calendar.

Keeping the outside broadcast team in check will be Dave Hall. He'll be anchoring the whole event from our studios at the Civic Centre. Listen in to one of our biggest outside broadcast events on WCR this Saturday 29th October from 6pm.
